Florida's Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) new Reemployment Assistance Claims system called CONNECT has been experiencing issues since it launched on October 15, 2013. Our understanding is that the DEO is currently working hard to correct these issues.

The Workforce Center cares for all of our customers and is trying to assist claimants in any way we can to make this transition to the new DEO CONNECT system as seamless as possible; however, we are unable to help with some of the issues because they are system related.

If you are experiencing problems with the new CONNECT system please relay your problem to one of the Workforce Center staff members or email our customer service link at and we will be happy to forward it to DEO to try to get it resolved. We appreciate your patience during this time.

You may also be able to get an answer to the issue that you are having by going to and looking at the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Page at the link below. DEO has been updating this page frequently as solutions are found.
