ABOUT EASTERN SHIPBUILDING GROUP
Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. (ESG) is proud to be an American-owned and operated shipbuilder with three state-of-the-art shipyards along the Florida Gulf Coast. As the largest private sector employer in Northwest Florida, ESG delivers world-class vessels for both national defense and commercial clients, including the U.S. Coast Guard’s prestigious Heritage Class Offshore Patrol Cutters. We were honored to receive the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's 2017 Small Business of the Year award. With over 350 vessels built and certified by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), ESG stands as one of the nation’s most versatile and trusted shipbuilders.
Currently, at our Port St. Joe Shipyard, we are working on three exciting new vessels: two ultra-high-spec 400 class Multi-Purpose Support Vessels (MPSVs) for Hornbeck Offshore Services, LLC, and the LONG ISLAND, a passenger and auto ferry set to operate across the Long Island Sound between Bridgeport, CT, and Port Jefferson, NY. This work will span over a year, and we have more projects in the pipeline, including a new ferry for Fisher Island, another service vessel, and four tugboats.
