Looking for a meaningful career change? The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has launched a paid Mobile Construction Training Program. This program is designed to help you build the skills necessary to make an immediate impact in the industry—no prior construction experience is required.
Program Highlights:
- Get Paid to Train: Earn an income while learning valuable technical skills.
- Comprehensive Curriculum: Training covers heavy equipment operation, Maintenance of Traffic, Workplace Safety (OSHA), and FDOT construction practices.
- Flexible Career Paths: Following an initial four-week classroom and simulation training, you can choose a two-week period to either earn a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class-B or transition directly into on-the-job training.
- Full-Time Opportunities: Graduates gain direct access to a variety of full-time career opportunities upon completion.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a drug screening and background check.
