Subsequent Designation
Regional Local Workforce Development Area Subsequent Designation for 2024-2026 (Open for comment until May 16, 2024)
Background: Local workforce development areas that receive an initial designation by the Governor may be granted a subsequent designation if, for the two most recent program years, the local area performed successfully and sustained fiscal integrity, and in the case of a local area in a planning region, met the regional planning requirements as described in WIOA Sec. 106. The chief elected officials must submit a request for subsequent designation to CareerSource Florida and Florida Commerce every two years beginning July 1, 2017.

Haney Technical College, Florida Panhandle Technical College, Florida Panhandle Technical College, Tallahassee Community College and SkillStorm are Eligible Training Providers for CareerSource Gulf Coast.
