The unemployment rate in the CareerSource Gulf Coast region (Bay, Franklin, and Gulf Counties) was 3.4 percent in November 2021. This rate was 0.3 percentage point lower than the region's year ago rate of 3.7 percent. The region's November 2021 unemployment rate was 0.2 percentage point lower than the state rate of 3.6 percent. The labor force was 97,132, up 5,680 (+6.2 percent) over the year. There were 3,258 unemployed residents in the region.
