Request for Proposals, Qualifications & Notices

For all purchases over $250,000, a formal Request For Proposals (RFP) or Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is needed. If your company is interested in bidding, the details of each project will be published below.

NOTICE: This plan is required under federal WIOA law and in accordance with state policy and guidance. The plan is provided for public comment until August 29, 2024. Public comment may be provided by email: info@careersourcegc.com.

Subsequent Designation
Public Notice:


Background:  Local workforce development areas that receive an initial designation by the Governor may be granted a subsequent designation if, for the two most recent program years, the local area performed successfully and sustained fiscal integrity, and in the case of a local area in a planning region, met the regional planning requirements as described in WIOA Sec. 106. The chief elected officials must submit a request for subsequent designation to CareerSource Florida and Florida Commerce every two years beginning July 1, 2017.

Eligible Training Provider Policy & Applications

Gulf Coast State College, Tom P. Haney Technical College, Florida Panhandle Technical College, Florida Panhandle Technical College, Tallahassee Community College, SkillStorm, and FleetForce are Eligible Training Providers for CareerSource Gulf Coast. Targeted Occupations eligible at these institutions are listed below:

    Please note: not all programs are sponsored at all times due to market saturation. In admission-restricted programs, students must be accepted and have completed pre-requisites prior to enrollment in WIOA Training.
