Second Bidders' Conference Scheduled for One Stop Operator RFP

Due to no attendance at the initial bidders' conference for the One Stop Operator Request for Proposal, a second Bidders' Conference is scheduled on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 10 a.m. CST via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/AVHSAsDcRomYZriBFi8tIQ.  

This session will provide an additional opportunity to address inquiries and offer guidance on the proposal process. This RFP is now closed. 
The Gulf Coast Workforce Development Board, Inc. doing business as CareerSource Gulf Coast announces the availability of the following Request for Proposals:  CareerSource Gulf Coast Job Center Operator. This program is funded through federal and state funds; primarily made up of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Wagner Peyser, and Veteran’s services funding.  The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from an organization or groups of organizations that are interested in becoming service providers for the delivery of workforce services in Bay, Gulf and Franklin Counties.

CareerSource Gulf Coast is seeking proposals from organizations capable of providing exceptional service and with the capability to manage complex federal and state programs with multiple funding streams and performance requirements. 
 
Proposals are due: April 1, 2025, by 12:00 p.m. CST

Subsequent Designation
Public Notice:


Background:  Local workforce development areas that receive an initial designation by the Governor may be granted a subsequent designation if, for the two most recent program years, the local area performed successfully and sustained fiscal integrity, and in the case of a local area in a planning region, met the regional planning requirements as described in WIOA Sec. 106. The chief elected officials must submit a request for subsequent designation to CareerSource Florida and Florida Commerce every two years beginning July 1, 2017. 

 

Eligible Training Provider Policy & Applications

Gulf Coast State College, Tom P. Haney Technical College, Florida Panhandle Technical College, Florida Panhandle Technical College, Tallahassee Community College, SkillStorm, and FleetForce are Eligible Training Providers for CareerSource Gulf Coast.
