CareerSource Gulf Coast Helps Bay County Suit Up
Date: 2019/04/27PANAMA CITY, FL —CareerSource Gulf Coast was able to provide job seekers a unique opportunity: free suits and professional attire. From Monday, April 22 to Wednesday, April 24, at FSU Panama City’s Holley Center, CareerSource Gulf Coast had staff onsite to help job seekers find the items they needed to “dress to impress”. Over the three days, they were able to assist over 60 individuals.
“We utilized donated suits from Volunteer Florida and Uber, setting up a distribution location at FSU Panama City,” said Kim Bodine, Executive Director of CareerSource Gulf Coast. “We received great feedback from recipients. They were able to get the items they needed for interviews, new job positions, internships and more.”
CareerSource Gulf Coast received a variety of donated items for both men and women from Volunteer Florida and Uber’s 4th Annual Suits for Session. Items included full suits, jackets/blazers, blouses/tops, trousers/pants and accessories. Cindy’s Consignment in Panama City also provided clothing racks to CareerSource Gulf Coast.
