Minimum wage increases to $13/hour, effective September 30

Effective September 30, 2024, the Florida minimum wage increases to $13 per hour and $9.98 per hour for tipped workers. This is the fourth incremental increase since the 2020 voter-approved constitutional amendment went into law. The gradual increase of $1 per hour each Sept. 30 will lead to a minimum wage of $15 per hour by 2026.
